Fiddlers

We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The server was great. The coconut rice I had was crunchy, but it was replaced with rice that was much better. My hubby's food accidentally went to the wrong table and had to be remade. The server apologized and provided us with a free desert for our troubles. I would definitely visit this establishment again. Great customer service, and the food was good.

This restaurant came highly recommended on our visit to St Simons Island. We had been trying a lot of the local restaurants and decided to try this particular seafood restaurant that was not on the beach but rather on a marshy area about a block away from the beach. Our first impressions were a little sketchy but we are glad we did not rely on them. The parking lot was a simple gravel parking lot and when you walked towards the front door, the first thing you saw was there rather unattractive loading dock. Once you got to the front door however, the decor and general atmosphere changed drastically. We were immediately seated right by the large picture window that overlooked the marsh and we were impressed with the atmosphere, the nice soft lighting, and the overall vibe that this restaurant was giving. The interior had a lodge feel with large stained Rafters that were visible on the vaulted ceilings and the large outdoor dining area. Our server was very accommodating and gave good honest recommendations based on what we liked.. even giving me a sample of a beer that I was slightly on the fence about. Are appetizer which was fried green tomatoes was presented in a beautiful Manner and it tasted as good as it looked. The beer was ice cold and my wife's Margarita was mixed just right. Our entrees showed up in a nice amount of time and we were pleased with how the food tasted and how it was presented. Overall, we like this restaurant very much and we would definitely recommend it to anybody visiting St Simons island. I would say that the only drawback is that the food is a bit pricey here and because so much of it is seafood, you deal with the market pricing on things. Otherwise it was a great experience and we believe that it was worth the cost.

Seafood fans this is your location! Large menu to fit any food preference. Highly recommend the bowls, I added ahi tuna and it was light and delicious with some of the best potent Wasabi I have ever had. Also the seafood bisque...... To die for. Great location for large groups with seating but would show up to get a table right at five if you don't want to wait.

Our visit was relaxing and enjoyable. The appetizers were great as well as the entrees. The service was good. Our waitress did not linger or return to the table too often, but checked in us just enough. The atmosphere was cozy. It was a chilly January night and there was a fire in the fireplace which was nice. The other customers were having fun with each other with good humored frivolity. This restaurant would be good for young and old alike.

We ate dinner on a busy Friday night at Fiddlers on our vacation to St. Simons Island. This restaurant is known for fresh seafood and craft cocktails. Parking is tough, so we were lucky that our hotel was in walking distance. Since I enjoy a good cocktail, I had a Cucumber Gimlet, which was very tasty. Our nice server, Carson, suggested the blackened shrimp bowl. It comes with coconut rice, slaw, topped with fiddlers sauce, and a soy reduction. I added some wasabi, which gave it a little heat. Fiddlers is a fantastic restaurant, and I would recommend eating here when you are in St. Simons Island.

Everything was great. Our waitress Ariel was very friendly, smiles, and attentive. The food was good, I had fried shrimp and fries, my husband had fried flounder sweet potato fries, daughter had fried flounder with mac n cheese. It was all good and flavorful. We got fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The health score is a 94. They do not do Veterans discount.

I heard about this restaurant from an old local. I'm sure glad I stopped by to try their food. This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Glynn Co. I ordered their Fried Green Tomotoes and Blackened Redfish Etouffee. The dishes were very flavorful, great atmosphere, and their customer service was excellent.
